Please, Health Me!? is a healthcare education podcast hosted by a board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than 45 years of clinical experience and her daughter, a designer and creative technologist who has spent her career making complex systems easier to understand.
Together, they explore real health questions, healthcare experiences, medical testing, insurance challenges, and the often-confusing world of modern healthcare — translating clinical knowledge into practical, understandable conversations that help people feel more informed and confident navigating their own care.

After more than 45 years in healthcare, Rebecca made the difficult decision to close her clinical practice. But she wasn't ready to stop doing what had always mattered most to her: helping people understand their health, answering difficult questions, and making sure they knew what options were available to them.
Tristin saw an opportunity to take that experience beyond the walls of a clinic. With a career spent simplifying complex systems through design and technology, she began experimenting with a different way for them to help together.
Maybe we didn't need another clinic. Maybe we needed a different platform.

A board-certified family nurse practitioner with more than 45 years of clinical experience. After decades of caring for patients, Rebecca closed her clinical practice but chose to continue the part of healthcare she has always been passionate about: helping people understand their health. She brings her clinical credentials, decades of firsthand experience, and a deeply patient-centered perspective to every conversation.
Tristin
A designer and Creative Technologist whose career has centered on making complex systems easier to understand and use. Tristin brings that same lens to healthcare: researching the questions people are actually asking, asking the questions patients and caregivers often leave appointments still wondering about, translating complicated information into plain English, and turning conversations into practical resources people can use.
She isn't the clinical voice of the podcast — and that's intentional. Her role is to approach healthcare from the patient perspective, ask questions, find the points of confusion, and work with Rebecca to make the answers more understandable and useful.
As a mother-and-daughter team, they combine more than 45 years of clinical experience with a designer's instinct for clarity. The result is healthcare education that feels human, approachable, and useful — not just information to hear, but questions to ask, options to understand, checklists to use, and guidance you can take with you.
