Birth control can be incredibly effective, but that doesn't mean it's always easy to understand what your body is doing while you're on it.

For this episode, we pulled a huge batch of real questions people were asking about contraception, and Rebecca chose the ones she most wanted to answer. We get into missed pills, breakthrough bleeding, IUDs, Depo, Plan B, painful sex, coming off the pill, and what happens when the method you want is simply too expensive.

A lot of these questions come down to the same thing: Is this normal, am I still protected, and when should I actually be concerned?

We walk through what may be part of the normal adjustment process, what deserves a conversation with your provider, and why finding the right birth control sometimes takes a little trial and error.
